OK. You guys helped me out a few weeks ago with an A/C suction line question and it really helped. I did have a tech come out and check my first unit and he said I did a good job insulating the suction line and the unit checked out OK.
Tonight my second unit stopped working correctly. I noticed my thermostat running a couple degrees higher on the east side of the house. I went out to check the condensor fan and it was not running on the second unit. I saw in an earlier thread that if the compressor is running but the fan is not that it may be a fan motor issue. How can I tell the compressor is running? When I look at the thermostat the cooling icon appears solid, but I don't really hear anything at the compressor.
Thanks.
