Quick question....when can you use a combination Tee Wye fitting? Also, if I wanted to add a double sink in bathroom can I run a WYE to tie both drains into rather than run each sink with a separate drain?

depending on your local code??? in some places you can use a wyh on the waste arm then split the drains under the sink, some places will not allow some will.

Jester there is such thing as a Ty don't give bad info if you don't know don't respond original question if your bowls of sinks are not more than 30 inches apart and you have the height you can do that

I know there is such a thing- but no one in my neck of the woods uses that terminology. It's either a tee, a wye, or a combo around here.
I also know how to use a little bit of punctuation when posting
i've had to learn different termimology a few times moving from state to state. a combo is a wye+1/8th bend sometimes one piece and sometimes a wye with an 1/8 bend glued in. the the regular wye and last a sanitary tee but sometimes called a ty depending on where you live.

In general-
Tees in drainage can only be used in the vertical
Wyes can be used vertical & horizontal.

Impossible to go over all scenarios but eplumber said it in general:

In the first diagram below the Wyes are actually combos(which are a wye and an 1/8 bend). SHowing the horizontal to horizontal drainage the eplumber reference. The San-T shows draining from horizontal to vertical. The fitting marked Combo below shows draining from the vertical to the horizontal
