I know there is such a thing- but no one in my neck of the woods uses that terminology. when can you use these fittings?i've had to learn different termimology a few times moving from state to state. a combo is a wye+1/8th bend sometimes one piece and sometimes a wye with an 1/8 bend glued in. the the regular wye and last a sanitary tee but sometimes called a ty depending on where you live.

Tees in drainage can only be used in the vertical
Wyes can be used vertical & horizontal.
