Hello,
I been noticing that a room directly above the garage is significantly cooler then the other rooms in my house. The house is only about 2yrs old. I am thinking of calling a professional spray foam insulator to spray foam the top of my garage ceiling, above the drywall. Would this help, or any other solution.

BTW we are experiencing -25 C temps as well.:vs_mad:

The cold room:15 C
Other rooms:20 C

Thanks in advance

How about some pictures of the spaces and layout?

The issue is most often the space below the floors being poorly insulated and being bordered on 5 of 6 sides by outdoor (i.e. cold) spaces.

Poor ductwork and supply side air can also contribute to the felt difference.

There are a handful of things that you can do to improve the comfort of that room, but we have to see what you see.

Are their kneewalls in the garage room?
