I'm putting in this cobblestone walkway out of 1 7/8'' pavers over the top of my walkway in-between my two side walls.

The problem lies when I get to the edge of the driveway there is a 2'' drop off from the pavers to the walkway.

Can anyone shed some light on what they think is the best possible scenario for this situation. Someone has suggested, taking a concrete mixed with river pebble and inclining that up. I'm still looking for something a little better.

I would dig out the existing walkway "x" feet back & slope the cobblestones down to meet the driveway

I agree with Dave, as I've been in this situation before. Remove at least 2-3' of existing sidewalk & re-pour it with a slight ramp to meet your finished sidewalk to driveway height. Anything else will probably only look & perform as a "band-aid."

I went with what dave said. Ran a circular down and chiseled out the block accordingly. Pitched the cobblestone up the way I needed it to, it looks perfect! :thumbup:

Nice, glad it worked out
I had a neighbor who put a step in rather then dig out an existing walkway. I prefer to minimize steps whenever possible
