I just moved into the first house in my life. I am so excited and want to remove the frame of the closet by our front door and install a Pax system from Ikea instead.

I never doubted that the wall I am going to remove is load bearing, since it is short, not across our house, and the back wall of the closet is loading bearing ( garage behind the wall), and the wall on the other side of our front door is load bearing. However, when we are so deep in our project, I become worried. So just in case I think I shall need some professional advise before I move on.

Btw, the top plate that still there seems very hard to remove, any idea how I can remove it without doing much damage to the joist above and the ceiling.

Big thanks in advance!

Looked like a nice front entry way. My first house, I ended up building a entry closet, a lot like that. You can't have too many closets. The top plate I most likely toenailed to everyone of the floor joist. So it's going to be hard to remove, without damaging those joist a little.
I would figure out where the floor joist are, above the top plate, cut the plate right by the floor joist. That would give you a 14” 2x4, you can pull down and pry it away from the joist.

The plate runs into the other walls and needs to be cut flush then it will come down

Exactly, we are talking about two different locations. I thought you was saying the top plate the OP wants to remove, is higher than the wall. That saw you recommended would be handy, cutting the plate into smaller pieces to get it removed.
