My home's breaker box, along with home networking equipment (phone lines, modem, router, ethernet switch), are located in the corner of my basement. I plan on finishing the basement and would like to hide all of this equipment in a dedicated closet. I understand all of the size and lighting requirements that this closet must meet for proper access and I plan on making it plenty large enough to work. However, are there any kind of ventilation requirements (similar to those required for furnace or water heaters) that apply to electrical equipment? I'd prefer a solid door, but are louvered doors or other ventilation required? I've seen this in regards to HVAC, but not electrical, and wondered if this is something I need to consider?

Thanks!
