I have a clogged bathroom sink. I have taken apart the trap and run a snake as far as I can, only about six inches, until it hits the intersection inside the wall. Put everything back together and still no flow. Is there something I'm missing?

Did you remove the piece coming out of the wall so you can help the snake make that 90 deg. turn inside the tee inside the wall?

Most of the time obstructions in a Pop Up is hair. Remove the clip retaining the pop up lever that enters the tail piece of the lavatory. You can then remove the stopper/pop up and clean all of the hair from it and reassemble it. Fill the sink to just over the overflow opening and put some bleach in the water and allow the bleach to soak up the bacteria inside of the overflow of you lavatory sink. Do the bleach about once a month to keep the overflow from stinking.
