We came home from vacation to water on the floor-- The kitchen sink won't drain. So far, we have used a plunger; taken apart the pipes under the sink; used a blower and wet-vac; used a snake, which would only go about 10 feet. We're thinking to dig right outside where I think the pipe comes out of the house.. ANY SUGGESTIONS????

Was it working well before?
Do other drains in the house still work well?
Do you know what route the kitchen drain takes?
There should be clean out plugs here and there on the drain pipe as it makes its way in the basement to the exit from the house. Putting the snake in these is often easier than trying to get it down from a sink or bathtub. This also can help narrow down on where the clog is.

I think it's about time to call in a professional plumber
with the right kind of professional power snake ! ! !
Unless you have very unusual plumbing your drain should run
under the floor over to the nearest bathroom where it ties into the main sewer ! !
