I have a toilet in my hall way that over time will clog up at the drain hole. By this I mean it will work for several days and then suddenly I go to flush and water come out around the base of the toilet. When I remove the bolt and pull the toilet away the drain pipe is clogged.
Unlike a normal clog it does not overflow the toilet, then water come out around the bottom base of the toilet. I have replaced the wax ring many time and while I am not a plumber I feel pretty confident I am replacing it correctly.
You can flush it with no solids and it works fine. My back bedroom toilet works fine.
I guess I need to call a plumber but I wanted to see if anyone has some ideas or has run into this situation before.
Thanks!
