Ive got an IPE deck just 2y old, has already faded to gray but had a green mildew film on a large section. Read elsewhere the best to clean was 1 pint of bleach to 1 gal warm water and scrub. I am hesitant to use my 1800psi power washer. Any other suggestions to clean or prevent?

While I've never cleaned an IPE deck, I've cleaned 100s of decks that had mold/mildew on them. I like to let the bleach do most of the work and mainly use the pressure washer for rinsing. I normally just spray the bleach solution on, let it set but not dry and rinse. I'll use an old broom to scrub stubborn areas.

IPE is also called Iron wood, for a very good reason.
My deck is a mixture of Tigerwood and Ipe.

Edit: re-reading your post, I guess you are not planning to stain, just clean. I would still suggest the same method.

Yes.
If you want it to look like the pictures on the internet, you will need to stain it. There is a lot to be said for letting it go natural ---- i.e less maintenance.
