My masonry carpenter did a sloppy job on the brick on the back of my house, and, I don't think cleaned the excess mortar. How can I clean th brick effectively without damaging the mortar holding the brick in? I know muritatic acid can work but I am uncomfortable using it. I have most outside in tieback to clean, but some inside as well. How can I be cautious and effective at the same time.
