The chrome sprayer from our kitchen sink Delta faucet was accidentally dropped into diluted bleach for 20+ minutes. The result can be seen in the attached photo. Is there any way to repair the chrome and restore the damaged handle to close to its original condition?

Nothing that you can do about it, except to order a new part from Delta.

Try your local big box store or plumbing supply store if you need one right away. Depending on your model, some of them carry parts for delta. Depending on model may have to order.
