I matched the red fence to my brick house and have never liked it. Too red. Now that I have new fencing I sure don’t want more red.

Is anyone familiar With SW deck stains? Im considering the two colors above. I would like a neutral beige. Is the top one I circled too yellowish?

waterborne deckscapes is wholly unimpressive.


BM arborcoat, sikkens, flood CWF...many better stains out there.

homedepot carries flood, it is a ppg product. flood is good quality and inexpensive.


arborcoat is a great stain too but you need to go to an independent benjaminmoore store to get it..

I know Flood sells some stains other than CWF but I'm not very familiar with them. I love the look of CWF but unfortunately it doesn't hold up well in the fla sun. I've had good results with SWP's DeckScapes here in east tenn but don't recall ever using it in fla.


Color Wheel Paints on Silverstar Rd in Orlando used to sell decent low price exterior stains ..... but I haven't used any of their coatings in almost 30 yrs.

Yes, avoid SW's waterborne. I had many issues using it on a deck. I've had great luck with the solid wood scapes/deck scapes stain but fear they would not hold up long in the FL weather.
