I have a cinder block chimney that I need to paint and I would like to know what kind of paint to purchase. The original paint looks like stucco, very course and rough. What would anyone recommend.

Is it painted or is it colored stucco?? It needs a paint compatible with cement, such as a concrete floor paint, but suitable for exterior.
