[Two Knots]

All this talk about corn bread got me to thinking -corn bread waffes
with some corn and chopped jalapeño peppers, served with Chii
over rice - topped with chopped raw onion, graded cheddar and
a dollop of sour cream. :biggrin2: My guy was in heaven!

It was good alrighty... :yes:

I can see why he loved that, it looks fantastic. Did you make your own chili? Some people don't like cornbread with chili but I sure do it is great.

Yes Jim, I made my own chili...I did however cut down on the portion size.
Trying not to overeat - as that’s what is what we have look forward to these
days while we’re under house arrest!...and I’ve been cooking up a storm., :biggrin2:

Those cornbread waffles will be great. I've made them a time or two using thinned down cornbread batter.

To me the best part of cornbread is the crunchy brown crust so the waffle cornbread would be about as good as it gets. I would love to try that, only we don't have a waffle iron.
