looking for some input on how to make cheapest garage floor possible. it needs to be a hard and flat surface to support a vehicle and easily roll my creeper. that fancy concrete is too expensive. dirt too soft. thought about putting moisture barrier over a well compacted clay/pea gravel base then placing plywood over that. but wouild still be astronomically costly for a broke *******. any suggestions?

If you can't afford concrete.....then you can't afford anything else that will meet your stated requirements.....you would be better off in the yard.....or go down to your local Wallmart and use the parking lot like everyone else does.

"you would be better off in the yard."
Working on vehicles 35 years in the yard, no garage. I have a 4'x4' plate of steel for the floor jack and two 1" plywood squares for jack stands.
