I have an Rheem RQNJ-A036 package heatpump. It has an HW rth 2410b stat with o/b, y, r,g and w/aux with same wire color orange, yellow ect. There is a blue present which is taped and not used with the 2410b which I assume is common(will check with meter). It is wired as a heatpump with heat strips. I have an HW vision pro TH8320 I'd like to put in it's place. The 8320 has rc,r(jumpered), o/b, y,g and c on the right heatpump side and w is opposite o/b on the conventional side. on the left side heatpump terminals are y,l, e/aux,k and s1/s2 for the outside temp sensor I will install later. My thoughts were to remove the r/rc jumper and use r with the red wire orange to o/b, y and g and connecting the taped blue to the c. This leaves me w which I figure goes to the e/aux-w2 terminal, correct ? I also are unsure about some setup toggles. 170 - #7 180- unsure with package unit. 190 unsure as orange went to o/b with package unit. #220 compressor cycle rate ? #240 use 9 ? Heatpump/aux lock outs needed ? 530 smart response ? With h/c fan, no extended timers ?

Thanks for any help. GBY

Need to have the jumper from R to RC or it won't work.

W/O/B is for the orange wire, and the stat must be set to energize the RV in heat mode.

Set both the compressor and aux cycle rate to 3 or 2.

Don't have an install manual in front of me to see the parameters of the menu to tell you about 190 etc.

Thanks. White to the e/aux/w2 then ? Ok on the jumper. I thought since the old stat didn't have rc it wasn't needed. I was figuring the stat would set the reversing valve for h/c.

Yes, white to aux. New stats need that jumped on systems with a single source power supply.

Stat needs to be set for with type of RV set you have. It can't determine that by itself.
