I had a call from an old customer yesterday. Something black coming out of outside spigots, clogging all the sink faucets. He thinks it came from the local water lines. I said, you have a whole house filter, it would have caught that, and the neighbors would have the same problem. Check the filter. Sure enough, the filter had burst, spreading charcoal granules throughout the plumbing. Spray diverter on sink faucet was clogged, several sink faucets ceramic valves, etc. Not sure what else is involved at this point. It took me 3 1/2 hrs to clear 3 sinks. And his poor DIY skills required replacing one of the valve cartridges.

CHANGE THE WATER FILTERS ON A REGULAR BASIS, PER MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS!!!!
