Newbie here. Home Depot has a 10 foot fence gate for $170. Old reliable inexpensive gate solution. Craigslist has a place selling 6x12 chain link fence panels for $65. What do you think of the idea to use one of those 6x12 panels as a drive-in gate?

12 foot extension off of one post probably isn't going to work. It will sag and maybe even pull the post out of the ground.

Used gates on CL might be a good shot.

Are ya able to build a gate outa a fence panel,..??

Got the toys, errr, Tools for the job,..??

I think I will just stick to the 2x5 feet gate solution from Home Depot

Tractor supply has less expensive options for drive thru gates if you are willing to veer off the chain link look.
