Do you think Certainteed driftwood works on brown siding? I've seen it on tan houses and it looks brown and on yellow houses and it looks gray. I love the color but I'm worried it will look too gray.
Sorry I ask so many questions but I am having a difficult time choosing a color!

One thing I have learned in my career is that my opinion on color is meaningless to the customer. Example: I once installed a green shingle on a brown house. I hated it, they loved it! I thought it was god awful, they couldn't have been happier.


Pay your roofer a few bucks to install a few shingles on your house and look at them in different light.

I agree. Get a few sample shingles and lay them in both the sun and the shade and see if it will work for you. Sometimes there are odd colour scheme requests. It's all the person opinion of the HO.
