Probably the most common problem with a outlet (receptacle) not working is a poor connection from installing the wiring into a 'backstab' instead of under a screw....over time these backstab connections often fail.

The problem may very well be at a working receptacle...so if you only replaced the ones that didn't work you likely missed the bad connection.


It will shorten the troubleshooting a bit if you invest in a receptacle tester like this.....
