Crack in the grout or crack in the actual tile?Hi guys, I just recently had my foundation repaired and in the process I have a hairline crack in a couple of the kitchen floor tiles. Is their a quick fix for this or does the tile need to be replaced? Thanks again.
Thanks joe, that's what I thought. I figured I better ask before I start bustin tiles up! Thanks again.joecaption said:There is no "fix". They need to come out and be replaced.
Remove the grout, crack the tile in an X pattern with a brick chisle, remove the tile, clean up the floor and use thin set to set new tiles.
This is step #2.There is no "fix". They need to come out and be replaced.
