I just installed a central air unit and I live in florida where it most always is 90. So my question is, whats the best temp to put the thermostat at and keep it there

What part of Florida are you in? Here in Jacksonville, we keep ours about 76 degrees, but I understand it should be set at 78 and left there.

I think 80 is too high for central Florida's humidity. Again, I think 76 - 78.:thumbup:

Ah, you didn't get a VS blower then.

Too bad, you could have set your stat to 80, and still had humidity control.

And saved a lot on your cooling bill.
