Ceiling Light Addition

Hello everyone! I am new to this forum, so please help me if I step out of line. As the title suggest, my question concerns adding a new ceiling light to an existing switch. My home has no ceiling lighting, and lamps are controlled by half switched outlets. Is it possible to tap into the existing switch to make it control both the outlet and a new ceiling fixture. If so, what do those connections look like? I am able to provide pictures if this task is a possibility.

There are 2 wires at the switch, one with power and the other goes to the outlet.

Join your new wire to that switch wire with a short pigtail that goes to the switch.

The whites (neutral) will be in the back of the box, just add your white to that.
