Hello,
I live in eastern Canada. I have a 24x24, 2-bay garage (with a dividing wall) I'd like to insulate to be able to be comfortable in during the winter. The garage was built in '75 and has a low slope roof (barely 2 feet at the peak) with closed trusses and some cross members between.

I have several questions:

  1. Should I close the ceiling or are there any issues with this?
  2. What are my options for insulating the space after I close the ceiling?
  3. Some of the spaces at the eaves are open and some are closed. Shouldn't they all be open, especially if I'm closing off the ceiling?
Thanks for any advice you can give me,

Sorry was my first post and could not post pictures. Here's a picture:

The roof is not vented.

Thank you,
