Ceiling Fan speed control switch

Hello, I have a ceiling fan that got stuck on low speed. It felt like something happened in the switch when u pull on the chain. I replaced the speed control switch and it is still stuck on low speed. Does this indicate another issue in the fan?

If so sounds like a bad capacitor.
