It's not that hard. The main issue is ensuring that there is adequate support where you install it and that the installation follows the specification for the fan, and then balancing the blades if necessary to prevent wobble. I've done a few of them and it's not rocket science. Depending on the size of the fan and the size of your sister, however, it might be difficult for her during stages of the installation.
Also, if your parents are still alive and there is a sizeable estate at stake, consider the wisdom of having your sister install a large motor with blades that hangs over your head.

How hard it is depends on what you are starting with and what you want.
Are you replacing an existing ceiling light? or is this a total new install (meaning you have to run electrical cable)?
Does your planned fan have a light kit?
Will you use the pull chains to control the light and fan? or do you want separate switch control? or do you want to use a fan remote control?

Basics:
Power to wall mounted 2 gang switch box, install 2 switches (1 for fan, 1 for light), 3 wire cable to location of fan. Install fan rated ceiling box. Connect wiring and hang fan.
Does any of this sound like you can do?
Were will you get power supply? Do you have access from above to run wire and install ceiling box?
