One of my ceiling fans started wobbling and I dismounted it to check out what was going on. I looked at the wiring and have a question regarding the green ground wire attached to the bracket in the attached photo. The blue wire goes to the black light wire in the ceiling, the black fan wire to the other black wire in the ceiling and the white neutral to the other neutral wires. Where should the green ground wire be connected??? To the other bare ground wires in the ceiling or should it be removed??? These fans were installed by a contractor in 2007.

Thanks

If you want to ground the fixture, then it needs to be connected to the ground in the box. Remember, current does not know color. Use a meter always.
Ok, thanks for the reply and looks like I discovered that's not a ceiling fan box. House was built in 1985 although it is securely connected to a ceiling joist.

I will remove it and put in a ceiling fan box with a ground screw connection.

Appreciated
