Hello, I would like to install two ceiling fans in our two bedrooms where we currently have light fixtures. The problem is that I can only access one electrical box from the attic. It's almost impossible to reach the other electrical box from above. This wouldn't be a problem if I could use the existing electrical boxes, but I have read that the electrical boxes must be fan rated to support the weight of the ceiling fans (70lbs). I am wondering if people who know more about this topic would be able to take a look at what our setup looks like from above (at least for the one box we can access) and let me know if the existing boxes should be able to support a ceiling fan. As you can see, the electrical box in the pictures is connected to a bracket, which is connected to two joists. We would really appreciate your input. Thank you!

That box and ring is not rated for fan support. If the box is not the sole support for the fan it does not have to be fan rsted.
