I'm about to caulk all the change of plane joints. Corners, floor meets wall, etc.

The caulk color (silver) matches the grout and is 100% silicone.

When caulking around the bathtub rim, should I use the colored caulk or a clear caulk? Just wondering if the silver caulk will end up looking weird around the tub.

Thanks.

I think the silver caulk is fine on the tub. But the less caulk you can get on the tub "leg" of the corner joint, the better—so that it looks more like a grouted joint. I'd go so far as to tape it before caulking, just to make sure (my own technique is inconsistent).

I’m going to wipe it down with a sponge soaked in mineral spirits. A trick I learned here. Nice clean uniform joint.
