Yes, it's an old house. There are EMTs of different sizes, gas pipes, heating pipes on those walls, so I am not worried about the looksYou are talking about surface mounting in a finished space right? If the concrete isn't poured yet and the conduit won't be exposed ENT is a good option
I do care about physical protection - that's the only reason why I want to put it inside some tubing. If you don't care about how it looks or physical protection then you really don't need conduit.
As an "outsider" I am quite surprised that, while PVC conduit has been suggested, no reference has (yet) been made to PVC "Wire Duct", as depicted on page one of http://www.automationdirect.com/static/specs/wireducttsh.pdfI have to run a Cat6 cable inside my garage that has concrete walls. What's the best way to do it? Can I use PVC conduit?
$40 for a 6ft piece is a bit too expensive for my needsAs an "outsider" I am quite surprised that, while PVC conduit has been suggested, no reference has (yet) been made to PVC "Wire Duct", as depicted on page one of http://www.automationdirect.com/static/specs/wireducttsh.pdf
TSH-0506G-1 is $15 - and it is 2 metres, so you get 6.56 feet!$40 for a 6ft piece is a bit too expensive for my needs![]()
