Not sure why you would want to. Just snap it off with a chain cutter you can rent. A 4-1/2 right angle grinder or a sawlsall with a carbide blade will also work, Might take all of 5 min. and leave a nice smooth cut then just use a hubless connector.
If you want to remove the lead- use a 1/4" drill bit. Drill several holes into the lead around the circumference. Pry out whats left with a screw driver. Now you should be able to wriggle the pipe/fitting out of the oakum.What's the easiest way to remove lead from 3" drain pipe without damaging female connection? Without burning rig.
