Hey all

I have high efficiency carrier. It has the large black wire on the cooling part which I understand is the fastest blower speed for cooling however it doesn't blow fats at all it's very slow. I tried the red and yellow wires and it was the same speed. What else do I have to do to get the mirror to speed up?

Is there a problem your trying to solve?
Ideally you shouldn’t hear or feel airflow when the units running.
The motor could have a problem. Or capacitor.

A really dirty and or frozen evap coil could do the same thing.

btw - you say carrier high efficiency, if your furnace model number starts with 58 and hasn't been serviced for a while, you really should call a pro - they have issues and need to be checked regularly, see: https://www.aircoheating.ca/safety-notice-carrier-heat-exchangers/
