Hello everyone. I have an old Carrier 3-ton 48hjd005 unit. I noticed that the house was near 90 today and went out to have a look. It seems that when it first turns on the fan outside spins for about 5 seconds and then turns off. Any idea where I could look for the problem? Thanks!

If you turn the power off and back on will it try again? It looks like the unit you have uses a CLO. Could be going off on high pressure, low pressure, or current. Also might be a bad CLO board.
