I am mulling my options for flooring on a converted concrete slab at grade level (garage coverted in the 70's). Carpet seems easiest and cheapest. There was a carpet previously(before I ripped out a few years ago) there and I have not noticed any moisture at all. Is carpet a bad idea? If not, how should I prep the concrete for carpet? Thanks!
