After my carpet was cleaned a foul Odor appeared. I PULLED UP THE CARPET and applied Natures Miracle Advanced Formula spray. after 6 hours when dried I lightly vacuumed. i then applied Arm&Hamer Pure Baking Soda to the padding and carpet . Two four pound boxes!, My question is would it be ok to leave some of the baking soda under the carpet ? (hardwood floors with vented crawl space on dirt if that helps? I vacuumed as good as I could before placing the carpet back then vaccumed a second and third..
well, if you vacuumed, it mostly shoyuld be sucked up, right? Then theres no problem. Otherwise, excess baking soda sitting on wood is not good. it IS a salt. Salt on wood can danage it over time. yes, baking soda is a salt......
