Anybody have a good suggestion? I have a 1-1/2 inch male threaded PVC connection on a drain input that I'm not going to use. I checked out a 1-1/2 inch iron cap, but the threads don't seem to be compatible.

The iron cap should work... If not you should be able to find a threaded pvc cap

It took three trips to Lowes, Home Depot and an actual plumbing supply house before I stopped off at Menard's and found a threaded plastic cap.

The amazing thing was that nobody at the first three knew anything about a cap at all. The supply house guy sold me the iron cap because "they don't make anything like that in PVC".

Tomorrow morning I'll screw everything together and have running water and a dishwasher again, at last...
