Im replacing a mower deck drive belt and need to remove a pulley that has a idler bar in way. Pulley has a crownlock nut, is there a way to get it off. Need to get the belt between pulley and bar. Craftsman 54 riding mower . Thank you

Do I just try to remove the crownlock nut ?

Just unscrew it. Make sure you know if it's left or right hand thread.

Thank you, I got the nut off with a piece of wood. Last time I broke a shaft with those crownlock nuts. Thank you 😃
