Can seamless gutters be removed and put back on?

Our ranch style home is in serious need of gutters. We would like to reside as well as put in new soffit and fascia however that is not going to happen for another year or two. Can we put up seamless gutters now, take them down to reside, and put them back up? We hate to waste money on throw away pieced vinyl or alum. gutters. Thanks.
