i have a porch that is completely enclosed on the front of my house. brand new storm door and brand new windows. it's basically the mud room before you enter the house. right now it has outdoor carpeting , but the wife wants to tile it. is this possible with there being no heat out there? the bottomeof the porch is just covered by lattice , so cold air is free to enter.i live in new jersey where we go from hot summers and very cold winters. can anyone help

Are there any trees in the neighbors yard and what color are the cars parked on the street in front?:)

You have provided nothing that would help to answer your question.

What is the porch made of? Concrete or wood?

If wood what is the size of the floor joists? What is their spacing? What are their dimensions? What are they covered with for a subfloor? How thick is the subfloor?
