Hi All,

So I had a shower and a hallway closet (which had a 1.5" cleanout plug), I knocked down the closet and expanded the shower. So now there's the shower drain and about 2' away the cleanout plug. This is all on a cement slab, in a single story townhouse.

What are my options? remove the cap and tile over? relocated it by chiseling a trench across 4 feet of hallway? build the shower to incorp the cap (idk how)

Thanks!

The clean out must be out of the new shower.
Why is the shower/old closet wall only 2" thick? - you need to make it a 2x4 wall (rotate the studs 45*, add a sill plate and secure to the slab) then move the clean out to this wall, with the clean out outside the shower.
