Have been a member of this board for a few years now and have a number of my questions answered by the members. Now I need your help in a different way. I am a teacher and am trying to get a project funded for my classroom. The organization I am working with funds projects based in part on the number of Facebook "likes" a project receives I am asking you to "like" to get it funded. The link is ***not allowed here, as per the rules***
About my project:
I had a video projector in my class on a cart. This caused two problems: one, a large of the class in front the projector couldn't be used because it would block its path, two, I blocked the kids behind me when I worked at the cart. The simple solution, of course, would be to roof mount the projector, but there is no money in the budget for that. I solved this problem by creating a platform for the projector and mounting it on a piece of galvanized plumbing pipe, which I bolted into the floor. I then created a wireless connection by hooking it to an apple TV. To accomplish this I had to convert the apple TV HDMI cable to VGI to be compatible with the projector I have. Without realizing it, I lost the ability to project audio. Consequently, this project will fund a new projector that is HDMI compatible and enable me to play sound in my class. There are number of programs my students love that I have not been able to use because of this limitation.
Thanks to all of you who decide to like my project.
