cala lilies

we just planted some cala lilies in our garden in full sunlight and they are laying flat on the ground rather than being perky. You can't even see the flowers. I have never had them before to know how to grow them and how they grow. Should they be standing up or is it normal for them to look so limp?

My guess would be they wilted due to being in full sunlight. Calla lillies prefer either East or West sun. Mine are planted on the West side with a fence protecting them from the sun & do very well there. You might want to check this out:
