Buying Slate
I'm considering installing a slate roof using the Nu-Lok system. However, I'm having a bit of trouble sourcing slate.
I'm considering Buckingham Slate, as Virginia is the shortest drive to pick up the material. I would consider Vermont slate as well, thought that is a longer drive.
Can one just drive up to the quarry/yard and purchase pallets of slate? or would a wholesaler be a better option?
