I have a massive pile of wood at the end of my garden and I am wanting to build a wood shed this summer.

It is probably about 4 tonnes of wood. I'm looking for some help on a design. I just want it to be covered, fairly inexpensive and not too complicated to build; and it has to keep the wood dry.

Any suggestions would be incredible!

Hi and welcome to DIY---

If you could give us an idea of the size that would be desirable--That would help--

The cheapest way to erect a wood shelter would be a miniature pole building.

Four fence posts--one for each corner---girders front and back to hold a roof structure(and bracing on the sides)

Then either a simple single pitched roof or trusses for a peaked roof.

Sheeting on two or three sides to keep wind blown rain off the wood----(fencing might make attractive sheeting)----That's how I've see a few built.--Mike--
