Ok, I saw this episode of "Man Caves" on DIY a few months ago where they built a small bar to hold a kegerator. Here's the link to the directions for the kegerator:

I want to built a slightly larger version of this to hold a small kegerator with a tap on top and some shelving inside and above (a hutch) to hold booze, glasses, etc. I can't really follow the plans in the link completely (not a carpenter or even close). Anybody got any plans, advice, pictures, anything that might help out?

There are very few times you see something you want to build and there are plans to suit the space you have. Usually you need to adjust the concept to your project.
The more you do it, the easier it gets.
