I have a Bryant 90+ energy efficient furnace and the inducer motor makes a loud humming sound before the furnace blower starts up. Can someone tell me how to fix it.

hi there could be a number of reasons ,, bad/noisy bearing.... platic wheel inside housing could be rubbing ,, and a rae of other possabilites ,, try and determine area noise is comming from on blower,,ive seen a water build up in blower housing from plugged drain has cause noises ,more of a swooshinh noise tho keep us posted

Could be any of those reasons plus that inducer is large and has a tendency to get off balance and can vibrate. changed a few under warranty. cannot hear it from here so you may want to get a Pro to check it.
