My washing machine drain was clogged. I rented a snake and snaked it. The tip of the snake broke. It is draining now. Is it BAD to leave the tip in there or do I need to call someone to get it out.
The choice is yours- if retrievable you should remove it. At some point it may give you some issues, then again maybe not. I've seen broken cables left in main lines for extended periods. Eventually they have to come out though
You never know with these things and it depends on the location and the position of the piece.
Sometimes people get away with it forever and sometimes it cause nothing but problems if paper and waste start collecting on it and it builds up and eventuality clogs.
Good Luck.
