2005 Goodman CPLT60 Heat Pump with Scroll Compressor
MCA = 29.2 amps
MOP = 50 amps
The SIEMENS 50A Type QP circuit breaker originally tripped when the system was energized for heat last winter. I reset the breaker and all was well. I recently had the same problem while in AC mode. Replaced the circuit breaker and have not had a problem since. Just curious, other than a faulty breaker, what would be the cause of this condition?
