Just replaced my kitchen outlets with brand new GFI outlets. I purchased a 3 pack of them. 2 of the three wont reset. These particular outlets have a little green light so I know all three are getting power, but only one would reset and is functioning. Any ideas on whats going on here? Is it possible that 2 of the three are just bad?

Ayup. GFI's will only reset when they're powered and wired correctly and are shipped in the tripped state.

Only one GFCI receptacle is needed; other standard receptacles downstream can be connected to the load side of the GFCI offering protection to those downstream receptacles.

The GFCI needs to have the source (cable from panel) connected to the LINE side of the GFCI. The LOAD side is for connecting other receptacles downstream.
